PEŁNY OPIS PRODUKTU:

Gusty wind, the roar of the waves hitting the breakwater, the water that turns boards into a dangerous rink and the whole 830 meters to go on a wooden pier which suddenly seems to be surprisingly fragile. This is how it could look like the day at work of Gdansk lighthouse keeper years ago (and, judging from the description, it would be probably Monday). In 1843, exactly on April 1 (really, no jokes) in Gdansk relatively small lantern with iron construction was lighted up for the first time . For many years you could get to it by this wooden, 830 meter long pier, running along the breakwater. At one point, the lighthouse was repainted crimson and from this day also served as “Red Head”, facilitating ships entering into the harbor. Hence that date until the end of its existence it was known as the “Red Lantern”. In 2012, to the surprise (and even outrage) of many people from Gdansk, with the consent of the conservator, it’s disappeared from the Westerplatte. And it is a pity...!
